Barrel-Aged Molten Double Chocolate Fudge Cake Supreme
Barrel-aged Molten Double Chocolate Fudge Cake Supreme We put double the amount of cocoa nibs per litre than we’ve ever used on any of our beers before, added a touch of fudge and stuffed it into a big, fat imperial stout that we’ve been aging in bourbon barrels for over a year. If you melted down the world’s most chocolate-y cake and made a beer of it, it would probably taste something like this… but with a very sensible 12.1% ABV.
Barrel Aged – Granddad Grahams Butter Coffee
Long before hip cafés were serving bulletproof coffee, a farmer in the middle of the Canadian prairies would stir a pat of butter into his morning coffee to give him a boost of energy before heading out into the fields for the day. From this simple daily pleasure, Granddad Graham’s Butter Coffee Stout folds in pecans, graham crackers, and vanilla into a monster of an imperial stout that has been aged for 12 months in bourbon barrels for good measure. It’s full bodied, oily and chewy with intense sweetness, toasty brown sugars, toffee, coffee, buttercream, vanilla, rich roasted malt, creme caramel, and loads of confectionery that finishes lightly sticky with that warming bourbon character. And at 12.1% ABV, Granddad Graham would most certainly consider this a needlessly decadent bastardization of his morning coffee.
Off the Rack N°1 By Rackhouse
Tennessee whiskey barrel aged stout 14.5% Off the Rack #1 sat in wet Tennessee whiskey barrels for 11 months to absorb coconut, vanilla and dry spice aromatics from the lightly-charred wood which meld with the full, sweet maltiness from the oat-rich imperial stout base. We left it unmolested to allow you to experience these nuances. Serving: Snifter glass. 8°C
Black Forest Picante By Rackhouse
Stout aged in tennessee whiskey barrels for 10 months. We took our 3 bean stout a step further and spiced it up with a bit of heat and give it nudge with Norwegian cherry juice. And of course the barrel aging is the icing on this cake. Vanilla, coconut oak and a touch of the bourbon will satisfy your senses in full. Serving: Snifter glass. 10°C
Blue Plate Special By Rackhouse
Bourbon barrel aged imperial stout with vanilla 13.5% This beer is nostalgic. Growing up in ’80s America I used to go to the local diners for their “blue plate special”. Pancakes, 2 bacon strips, toast and coffee. Nothing beats that bacon when it mixed with the maple syrup on the plate… This Maple Bourbon barrel aged Breakfast stout reminds me of the great diners of yesterday; may they reemerge in our world again! Serving: Snifter glass. 10°C
Vanilla Dreams By Rackhouse
This Imperial Stout was aged in Tennessee Whiskey barrels for 1.5 years before being infused with Indonesian vanilla (and a sprinkle of vanilla sugar). The earthy/woody undertones from the beans are a perfect compliment to the chocolate and caramel notes of the beer, and the American Oak in which it was aged. Serving: Snifter glass. 8°C
Dulce De Leche By Rackhouse
Contains Lactose. Inspired by the Latin American dessert, this pastry stout this offers a creamy, caramel sweetness characterized by toffee and butterscotch with a subtle vanilla finish. The bourbon flavours imparted by 13 months in the barrels contribute hints of caramel, pecan and nutmeg which complement the dessert-forward notes of this decadent beer. Pour over a fresh churro and experience una delicia!
